Invisalign is a virtually invisible orthodontic solution making it easy to straighten your teeth without bands, brackets or wires. This treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners (trays) that you can change every two weeks. Each aligner is individually designed for your teeth. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move to achieve the final result desired. There are 3 different types of Invisalign treatment depending on the severity of the crowding. Dr Golestani can direct you towards the best course of treatment for you.
When deciding who to trust with your treatment it is important to ask the right questions and do your research!
Dr Golestani has over 30 years of experience as well as many training courses and accreditations under his belt. You can have complete confidence that you will be looked after by our entire team and will be in great hands here at Dental 359.
After your initial consultation, when you and your Dentist have determined that Invisalign is right for you, and are happy to proceed with treatment, we will arrange an appointment to complete all preliminary diagnostics, including 3D scan and photos.
This process, at Dental 359, is entirely digital and eliminates the need for any uncomfortable impressions!
There are three types of Invisalign treatment options available, depending on your level of crowding and end the result you’d like to achieve.
Your eligibility will be determined by Dr Golestani following a comprehensive consultation and examination.
This is the longest course of treatment. It includes roughly 18-36 aligners worn over a course of 9-18 months.
For slightly less severe cases, it includes up to 14 aligners worn for approximately 9 months.
Is for cases where minimal movement is required. It includes only 7 aligners worn for approximately 4 months.
There are two types of retainers that can be worn following your Invisalign treatment.
Vivera retainers are a plastic aligner (very similar to the ones worn during your Invisalign treatment) or a bonded retainer can be fixed to the back of the anterior teeth, both options ensure lifelong retention so long as you follow your provider’s instructions and return for regular Hygiene appointments.
